The portrait photograph of Afghan Girl, that made it to the cover of National Geographic Magazine in June 1985, is the most famous photo in the world of all times. The critic found the girl in the photo similar to the Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, that they name it, “The First World’s Third World Mona Lisa.”
McCurry who has visited India 60 times, says that the country had taught him to “Watch And Wait On Life”
“If you wait, people would forget your camera and the soul world drifts into view,” he had said in an interview.
