Today, Bengaluru is considered as the software capital of India. The city is Asia’s fastest growing metro city of India.
The Bengaluru city had its start of establishment in 1537 by Vijayanagara Empire, Kempe Gowda I, ho aligned with the Vijayanagara empire to campaign against Gangaraja who he defeated and expelled to Kanchi, and who built a mud-brick fort for the people at the site that would become the central part of modern Bangalore.
There are numerous other names given to Bangalore, like ‘India’s Silicon Valley’, ‘The Fashion Capital of India’, ‘The Pub City of India’.
