Indian Mythologies have a lot of things that are mentioned about the inhabitancy of human civilisation. One such example is the Gurgaon City, that is mentioned back in Sacred Hindu Scriptures.
With a popular belief that the land was ruled by Pandavas and Kauravas, there is an interesting story behind the name of the city.
This town was named when Dronacharya, a personality within the Indian epic Mahabharata. it’s aforesaid that Dronacharya imparted his teachings to the Pandavas and the Kauravas at this place.
The place was at first named Guru Gram after Dronacharya, once the supreme ‘Guru’. It later evolved into Gurgaon.
Today, Gurgaon has more than 20 outlets for luxury cars such as BMW, Audi and Volkswagen. Malls that stock practically every international brand dot the landscape.
