Contemporary slavery exists in multiple forms. It involves depriving others of equal rights and suppression of individual liberties for unconditional interests. the explanations are several – secured labour, sexual exploitation, human trafficking, forced child labour etc.
According to the global Slavery Index, 2014, the globe has 35.8 million trendy slaves and India first-rate the list.
According to the data from walk free foundations ‘Global Slavery Index 2014’ India has 1,42,85700 modern slaves, followed by China with 32,41,400 people as slaves than 20,58,200, 12,01,400 and 10,49,700 people as slaves in Pakistan, Uzbekistan and Russia respectively.
